About this event

On Thursday 29 September, RWK Goodman are holding a special charity screening of Alice’s documentary in Hebden Bridge, home of Acre Mill owned by Cape Industries where Alice worked and was exposed to asbestos dust. This landmark film was pivotal in raising public awareness of the severe risk to health caused by asbestos exposure.

The event will commence at 12pm and includes a screening of Alice’s film, followed by refreshments and a Q&A with an expert panel.

This is a fundraising event which is free to attend, however we would appreciate a donation of either £10 or £20 per person. The donations will be distributed between the following asbestos support groups and charities:

Cheshire Asbestos Victims Support Group (CAVSG), Cumbria and Lancashire Asbestos Support Advice Group (CLASAG), Derbyshire Asbestos Support Team (DAST), Greater Manchester Asbestos Victims Support Group (GMAVSG), Hampshire Asbestos Support and Awareness Group (HASAG), Merseyside Asbestos Victims Support Group (MAVSG), Mesothelioma UK (MESO UK), MESSY, Readley Asbestos and Mesothelioma Support (READLEY), South West Asbestos and Support Awareness Group (SWASAG) and Yorkshire and Humberside Asbestos Support.
