Newly added to our Picture House at Home online programme! Away is about a boy travelling across an island on a motorcycle, trying to escape a dark spirit and get back home. Along the way he makes a series of connections with different animals and reflects on the possible ways he ended up on the island. Part dream, part reality, Away explores our common, universal need to find a connection.

Whilst our priority is to be able to show you films on the big screen, we felt it was important to provide this platform to our audience whilst our doors are closed, as well as offering a service for those who are unable to visit us when we reopen.

We have some exciting news! From Tuesday 3rd May, for around 2 weeks, access to the cinema will be via the front of the stalls as we will be refurbishing the foyer. However, we are still very much open!

Simply follow the signs, walk past the gallery shop, then down the access ramp where you will find the Box Office just inside the black doors. We will have a pop-up kiosk at the rear of the stalls but there will be no hot drinks served (cold drinks are unaffected).

Please note there will be no wheelchair accessible toilet.

SING-A-LONG-A SOUND OF MUSIC CHALLENGE!

Ahead of the fantastic screening of Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music on Friday 3rd July Hebden Bridge Arts Festival and the Picture House are inviting YOU and your friends to pack the Picture House steps on Saturday 13th June at 1pm for our nun photo call!
