Britain’s Oldest Performing Drag Artiste, David Raven (Maisie) prepares for the performance of a lifetime to celebrate his 85th birthday. A recent health diagnosis only adds to David’s growing anxiety as the big day approaches, but, ever the professional, Maisie gives the performance of a lifetime as she looks back on half-a- century of entertaining. A moving, warm, funny film with an appearance from the late Paul O’Grady.

The Screening will be followed by a live Q&A with the film’s director Lee Cooper and performer Allan Cardew.

Maisie is presented in partnership with Hebden Bridge Film Festival.
