Dementia Friendly Screenings

Our dementia-friendly screenings, held on the third Monday of every month, offer an opportunity for people with dementia, along with friends or family, to enjoy a trip to the cinema. We aim to feature classic, feel-good films that everyone can enjoy together. Our cinema screening adjustments include:

1. No adverts or trailers so film starts promptly at the advertised time
2. The lights are left on low
3. Accessible signage
4. Free to talk, sing and move around
5. Sound adjusted to suit the audience

Free tea, coffee and biscuits are served for half an hour before the film to give people the chance to meet and socialise with others, and to familiarise themselves with the cinema space.

Tickets are at the Off-Peak price of £7.50 per person, with a free place for accompanying carers.
