Ticketing update for Hebden Bridge Picture House 2025
Posted on 14 March 2025

Update on ticket prices…
From Friday 4 April 2025, we will reluctantly be increasing our Film and Live Arts ticket prices. This was not an easy decision, but with the upcoming rise in Employer National Insurance contributions, it is something we must do to ensure the long-term sustainability of the cinema. Our standard film ticket prices will increase by 50p, and Live Arts screenings will rise by £2.
Why Are Prices Increasing?
As a not-for-profit independent cinema, every penny we earn is reinvested into the venue. Rising operational costs, including the increased Employer National Insurance contributions, have made this change unavoidable. We’ve kept this increase as small as possible to continue providing great value for our customers.

Supporting Our Community
We know that price increases can be difficult, especially during challenging times. That’s why we’re committed to continuing initiatives that ensure cinema remains accessible to all. These include:
• FREE monthly warm space screenings (which are dementia friendly!)
• Regular £2 family screenings
• Affordable membership packages packed with fantastic perks:
– £2 off Film tickets
– £4 off Live Arts tickets
– 2-4-1 tickets on Mondays
– Two free film tickets per year
– 10% discount on food and drink
– Special “Members Bring a Friend for Free” and “Members Go Free” offers.
Thank You for Your Support
We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of our wonderful customers. Every ticket you buy helps us care for our historic building, support our valued staff, and continue to bring a diverse programme of inspiring films, special events, and community screenings to Hebden Bridge.
We understand that price increases are never welcome, but we hope this change will allow us to keep delivering the exceptional experience you expect from us.
