Exhibition at Hebden Bridge Town Hall

One hundred years of movie-going magic at Hebden Bridge Picture House are being celebrated in a special exhibition this autumn.

The exhibition of photographs and memories will be on display at Hebden Bridge Town Hall from October 25 to November 22. It has been compiled by the Friends of the Picture House with the support of Hebden Bridge Local History Society.

The much-loved Picture House has been at the heart of the community since 1921 and has overcome several challenges in recent years including two major floods and enforced closure due to the covid pandemic. The exhibition reflects those challenges as well as the special occasions, community involvement, movie memories and gala nights which have been a feature of the Picture House story. Here’s to the next hundred years!
