Welcome to Hebden Bridge Picture House, a unique and historic cinema nestled in the heart of the picturesque Pennine market town.


Our spacious auditorium seats up to 527 guests, including 8 wheelchair spaces, making it an atmospheric and memorable setting for a wide range of events. With experienced front-of-house and technical teams on hand, we’ll help ensure your event runs smoothly from start to finish.

What you can use

Depending on your hire, you’ll have access to:


  • Our welcoming foyer
  • Toilets and customer facilities
  • The main auditorium (and balcony seating if required)
  • A demountable stage, available in different sizes

Tech and equipment

We can provide:


  • Digital projector, cinema screen and cinema sound
  • 4 wired microphones and 2 roaming microphones
  • A 24-channel front-of-house lighting rig (for stage/screen area)


Please note: our cinema sound system works well for speeches, films and presentations, but it isn’t suitable for live music. If you’re planning a music event, you may need to hire a full PA system.

Food and drink

Our kiosk offers a range of drinks and snacks, and we can also discuss guest packages and outside catering options.
