Public invited to help shape plans for Hebden Bridge Picture House at drop-in events on Monday 12 January
Local people and visitors are invited to an informal drop-in at Hebden Bridge Picture House (HBPH) on Monday 12 January, with sessions running 12–2pm and 4–6pm. No booking is needed and free refreshments will be available.
HBPH, owned by Hebden Royd Town Council, is developing proposals to protect and improve the not-for-profit cinema. The drop-in events give the community a chance to view emerging designs, hear the latest project updates and share feedback.
The feedback gathered will help shape the proposals and will feed into an application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Cllr Keith Butterick, Chair of the Picture House Committee, said:
“Our main priorities are protecting the cinema’s heritage and improving access so more people can enjoy this much-loved community venue. We’re also exploring environmental improvements and proposals for a second screen to increase programming flexibility and support the cinema’s long-term financial sustainability.”
Cllr Butterick added: “We’d encourage everyone to drop in, see the emerging plans and share their views, which will help shape the project and support our National Lottery Heritage Fund application.”
